Corporate Profile

After many years in the commercial baking industry, Steve Schrank, President of Gluten Free Co-Pak Inc. realized there was a substantial demand for good Gluten Free baked goods and products.

Having first hand experience through close friends, he realized that it is practically impossible to assure the safety and status of gluten free foods unless produced in a Dedicated Gluten Free Environment

As meticulous as a facility attempts to be, it is not possible to clean a production line with all of its many facets to a standard that will assure absolute gluten free status. Many people are not aware that as with a peanut allergy, a gluten intolerance, though not perhaps noticed immediately, has nevertheless a very damaging effect over time on people with Celiac Disease, those who are Gluten Intolerant or have a Wheat Allergy.

Starting with only one commercial client, shipping freshly frozen baked goods to California, Steve took the leap and began Gluten Free Co-Pak Inc. in 2008 with the support of family and friends.

Whether a large company wanting to add a gluten free product to their brand, a conventional bakery wanting to make their own gluten free products in a dedicated gluten free facility or a small entrepreneur hoping to launch a gluten free product, we have been able to make the road from ‘idea to reality’, an accomplished fact.

In meeting the demanding needs or our customers, we continually seek ways to provide improved performance, value and quality in everything we do. Our commitment to customer service is backed by an ongoing investment in our people, our processes and overall capabilities to ensure the highest level of quality and service.

Gluten Free Co-Pak Inc. is also a Certified Kosher Parve facility. This program covers all aspects of the food’s production, including the ingredients used, the equipment on which it is produced, and the manner of production to ensure that all kosher requirements are met. The Kosher seal on a product will help expand your customer base, which means more sales in the growing kosher and non kosher markets.
